William Blake

So yes I like to copy the works of those whom I consider great artists. When I was young, I used to think I needed to have strong emotions to produce something meaningful, then thankfully with older age I have learned to balance emotions and practice, by following, in my own small way, the advice of another artist, Pino Genovese: ‘you have to work, work, work’ which in Italian was: ‘devi lavorare, lavorare, lavorare’. He is right, and I’ve still got so much to do and learn. The good news is: I have now access to my Studio at Wasps, and having created a small space at home for painting, it means I have double chances of making my images.
